About us

Stoke Mill was founded by Ludo’s father Rio in 1975 becoming one of the places to be in Norwich for many years fast forward to 2012 when Andy and Ludo started the current Mill adventure giving it a complete transformation into what we have now. Over the last 10 years the Mill has gone from strength to strength, in 2023 we were awarded a Michelin Star for our Restaurant STORE this space has now been transformed into the Chef‘s table dining experience, where Andy and Hazel cook up some of the amazing Michelin Star dishes that STORE was renowned for. This landmark Colman’s mustard mill is proud to be celebrating 50 years as a renowned Norfolk Restaurant and as a result a 50 year menu has been created to celebrate some of our best dishes.

Stoke Mill, nestled on the River Tas, might be steeped in some 700 years of history, but step inside and this is very much a modern fine dining experience.

Stunning food, amazing service. Head and shoulders above the rest of similar priced eateries in the county. Orkney scallops were the best I've ever had. Trout tart was absolutely beautiful. A fabulous dining experience is what you’d expect to get in this restaurant. It’s fine dining with the price to go with it. The food was fantastic especially the cheese soufflé as a starter. We had mussels meunière, beef medallions, fried halibut and steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. The crème brûlée which came with raspberry ice cream was a perfect dessert. Highly recommended.
