Set beside the River Tas in Stoke Holy Cross, Stoke Mill stands on a site that has been home to a working mill for more than 700 years. In 1814, Jeremiah and James Colman began producing mustard here, marking the beginning of the world‑famous Colman’s brand before the business later expanded to Carrow.

Today, Stoke Mill blends centuries of history with contemporary comfort. Following an extensive refurbishment, the building’s original character has been lovingly preserved while creating a warm, stylish space for dining and events.

"A fabulous dining experience is what you’d expect to get in this restaurant. It’s fine dining with the price to go with it. The food was fantastic especially the cheese soufflé as a starter. We had mussels meunière, beef medallions, fried halibut and steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. The crème brûlée which came with raspberry ice cream was a perfect dessert. Highly recommended."
